I have the most experience with third person writing and I've noticed in my more recent pieces that third person is the easiest for me when it comes to "showing, not telling", the advice I get a lot from reviewers. I am working on transferring the Carnival scene into third person today, and once that is completed I'll post it. It will be the same story, I am literally going through paragraph by paragraph and adjusting it to fit the third person POV. Hopefully it turns out well. Once I post it I'm going to update my poll and see which version people like better, and then hopefully I can continue on to other scenes in the story!
